Whether a renovation of shops in a town center or the creation of a new shopping plaza, McKissick Kasun Architects has the skill and experience for commercial projects of all kinds and sizes. One example of this is the historic restoration and revitalization of the Eagles Mere Historic Village.

Eagles Mere Historic Village

At the core of the historic downtown business district stood the former 1867 "General Store" and the 1880 "Sweet" shop restaurant and associated outbuildings. The project involved the purchase, restoration, renovation and expansion of the town's General Store in the Borough of Eagles Mere, for the purpose of creating a sustainable downtown center for retail, art galleries, and community use facilities. The expansion created appropriately sized sales venues in the available retail space.
